We’re unveiling our new GHD Design brand

We’re proud to introduce our new brand – GHD Design – for our architecture, interiors, landscape and urban design services, as well as fitout management in New Zealand.

The GHD Design brand brings together our GHDWoodhead and GHDWoodhead creativespaces teams across Australia and New Zealand, comprising 300 architects and designers. The practice was ranked largest in Australasia in the World Architecture 100 2023 listing, published by UK magazine Building Design.

This rebranding represents the integration and consolidation of our Architecture and Design services with GHD's core engineering expertise, all unified under the GHD brand family. By aligning our strengths, we are poised to continue delivering innovative multi-disciplinary solutions that surpass traditional boundaries and challenge conventional thinking. Our team collaborates across a diverse range of sectors, from civic, community and justice services, workplace solutions, education, healthcare and wellbeing facilities, to residential, aged care and transport infrastructure.

“GHD Design is committed to a future-forward, design-led approach that facilitates meaningful collaboration with our clients and their communities. Our architecture, interior, landscape and urban design services, aligned with the full power of GHD’s integrated offering, is focused on creating a better built environment for generations to come,” says Leone Lorrimer, Australian Practice Leader, GHD Design.

"We are thrilled to announce GHD Design’s brand evolution from our previous design entity, GHDWoodhead creativespaces,” shares Olivia Pearson, Director – Architecture, New Zealand. “This milestone unifies our design ethos, representing our commitment to innovation, creativity and collaboration to co-create integrated built environments that not only reflect a distinctive character but also foster a strong sense of community and place for future generations.”

GHD Design’s recently completed award-winning projects include the Māori Land Court in Whangārei, the Perth Airport Station (with Weston Williamson + Partners) and the Wurun Senior Campus in Melbourne (with Grimshaw).
